Review on Instant Cooling & Soothing Relief: ClearComfort Medagel Blister Prevention Hydrogel Patches For Heel & Foot Protection - 14 Mixed Size Patches by Martin Dosunmu

Hit and miss good for me

I am prone to blisters so was eager to try these out and honestly I got mixed results. Though there are no instructions it’s pretty obvious that you peel off the backing and stick them (if you need to cut them do it before peeling back off) on your foot where needed. I tried them in two areas, the side of my big toe and my heel with a few pairs of shoes that cause me issues. On the toe area they did pretty well, stayed on until I removed them and protected the spot that is prone to blisters. The ones I used on my heel proved a little more problematic depending on the shoe. If the shoe had a back that hit on the lower side of my heel it tended to catch on the bottom and push the pad up as my shoe slid across my heel and eventually it would fall off, leaving a sticky residue. If the shoe back was higher the pad stayed on fairly well, though still tended to scrunch the longer I wore it if I walked a lot in the shoe. I guess it really depends on the placement and shoe style as to how long it will stay put but at the price it’s currently being sold for I wouldn’t be willing to experiment with it.
