I didn't use them for running.
I love it. However, I have used them as indoor/martial arts shoes. So if you're interested in trail running, unfortunately I can't give you a clue. However, apart from being a bit grippy, I love them as indoor/martial arts shoes.

- May not be suitable for those requiring arch support
