Fast and works as it should, period.
Works fine on Note 9 and laptop, faster than Sandisk UHS-II Reader and no issues. A closer look inside shows that the pens are of good quality, the cards fit very well with no hesitation or loose feeling. also has a latch and fits the usb-c phone snugly.
