I ordered a digital multimeter for my father - for work and for use at home. He liked the device: a great thing for measuring current and voltage. At home, too, a multimeter was useful. When we did not turn on the lamp in the corridor, the first thing we decided was that the light bulb had burned out. The father "rang" the light bulb - it turned out that it was working, and the problem was related to the incorrect installation of the lamp. It was already repaired by a master who clearly stated what the problem was. So the multimeter helped to save time and money in detecting a breakdown, because it turned out to be cheaper to repair the lamp than to buy a new one.
