If you keep in mind that this is about $40, it’s an OK watch case.The wood is lightweight and the hardware is not impressive, but it works. There is no lock on this case which shouldn’t be a problem. If someone is coming to steal your watches, they’ll just take the whole case, a lock is not going to stop them.The drawer is not on sliders, it’s just fitted to the opening, and so it’s a little rough, but again, it works.The lining, and the pillows, are burlap. They’re not so coarse that they will scratch your watch, but my other boxes have a much softer lining.I also think that the pillows are a bit small and hard; they don’t squeeze as much as I’m used to, but they are pretty solid. You can see the comparison to some of my other cases in the attached photograph.There’s enough storage for most people, and the bottom drawer has well-designed compartments for some jewelry and other knick-knacks.I would say that this is utile.
