Fills a Room with Miracles

90 Day Review Klipsch speakers have a reputation for being overly bright and loud simply because they have a horn tweeter. From the lowest speakers they sell (the R-51m I have) to at least these, they fixed it. You can listen to this stuff all day long without getting tired. They're very efficient, and one possibility that emerges is that at lower volumes they give you lots of sonic information and subtlety. Also, due to their efficiency, they can fill a room quickly and easily. Image: I spaced them about 9 feet apart and 9 feet from the "seat" on the couch. I ended up adding a little toe, about an inch or so. It really makes the soundstage stand out. The more convergent than these, the more expensive they become to large headphones where the sound is really concentrated in too small an area. I'm using a PS Audio Sprout 100, 50 watts into 8 ohms. Looks like I need more, but it's better than some of the huge Marantz AVRs I've tried.
