If you're researching like me, there are many reviews screaming bloody murder about these racks being totally incompatible with these Vizio speakers as well as many reviews brazenly stating how easy it is to set up these stands with these Vizio speakers. The reality lies somewhere between these polarized views. Here are some helpful tips on how to keep your temper as you set up: 1. An iced drink of your choice by the glass. Mine usually contains alcohol but doesn't have to.2. Use the screws and washers that came with the Vizio speakers to attach the speakers to the stands. The screw options that come with the stands do not fit these Vizio speakers. No need to go to hardware store.3. Use the larger L brackets to attach the speakers to stands.4. The trick is to use a pair of pliers to bend down the portion of the bracket's "rails" near the speaker connector and bend INSIDE the bracket's "rails" in the center where you will insert the screw and washer attach to the back. Speaker. I wish the shim was a bit larger to ensure it would hold onto the strut, but it will do the job of adjusting to your needs if you spend a few minutes wiggling back and forth and the guide strut in center inward where the screw will enter and push the bracket rails outward down where the speaker connector/cable will pass. Another tip is to bend the entire L-Bracket inwards slightly (i.e. decrease the angle) to ensure the satellite speaker sits more firmly on the stand. If you're concerned about the bracket rails popping out from under the washer, the stand's accessory kit includes thick double-sided tape for attaching to the underside of speakers mounted on top of the stand. I didn't bother if I ever wanted to wall mount these satellite speakers. The pincer trick worked well enough for me. 6. Prepare iced drink and you're done. Considering that mounting the brackets to the Vizio speakers took some effort, I've lowered my rating to 4 stars. I think Atlantic should step in and provide some accessories for these Vizio speakers as they already seem to have a big share of the third party speaker stand market and it would be nice if I didn't have to break out my toolbox to get them. Overall, these speaker stands feel very solid and sturdy, and the base feels solid enough not to tip over from a clumsy bump or from a slight shake in an earthquake (knock on wood). The height is easily adjustable and the price is reasonable. There don't seem to be many other good stand options for these Vizio satellite speakers, so if you follow my tips and tricks they will work for you.
