Notice right away that this isn't a 60Hz 4K model, it's a 30Hz model. It fits me; I use it for work, not for gaming. If, like me, you've bought into the Surface ecosystem, I can't recommend this enough for your personal workstation. The benefit that Microsoft's pricing gives you is that it frees up the USB port on your Surface, since the docking station connects through the port on the Surface. The main note I have is that there seems to be a small number of USB ports: two USB-A ports on the back and two USB-C ports on the front. In my experience, there aren't many USB-C connector cables for accessories yet, but you can certainly charge your phone.
