Ideal for data transfer

This is mainly a platform for connecting multiple storage devices such as memory cards and memory cards. Data transfer is slightly better. I use it to stream video from a DVR. It can be used as a docking station but the laptop isn't getting power, maybe I'm doing it wrong or it's not designed for that, just thought.
