Review on πŸ”₯ Powerful and Dynamic: SUNFIRE 8" 400W Peak Subwoofer Black for Enhanced Audio Experience by John Arrow

Revainrating 5 out of 5

which turned out to be surprisingly good for music

I had an old M&K MX-100 dual 12" subwoofer in a small 5.1 channel system. This sub was too much for my small townhouse as it shook neighbors houses Reduced to 2 Dayton Sub-800s which were surprisingly good for music but fell short for some of the tracks in the movies Obviously felt like I was missing out on the old M&K I decided to switch the Dayton to an SDS8. The Sunfire doesn't have the maximum bass that the M&K has but I don't feel like I'm really missing anything from this unit. In fact I would say that the bass provided by dual 8 grilles, one active and one passive radiator, is cleaner and tighter than dual 12s A ton of product from such a small box Looks good, well built, good handling, lots of bass and no nasty neighbors dr before the volume keeps going down as this device never ceases to amaze me. I sold one Dayton and switched the other to a 2.1 setup, but I liked the SDS8 so much that I decided to sell another Dayton and buy another SDS8. If you're looking for a smaller subwoofer with more bass, don't think you can do better, especially when like me they're on sale.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • So far so good
