Good keyboard and case. Yes, it's heavier, but that's because there's a metal plate in the lid that the keyboard attaches to. The back cover could be a bit thicker to make it more stable when put up. Also, my Apple Pencil will not charge through the case. It magnetizes sideways but doesn't charge. I have to remove the case to charge it (maybe this part of the case needs to be cut out as well, like the charging slots for the iPad itself). I like that there is a special pen holder on the other side that protects the pen better when I hide it.
