I forgot that Carhartt's clothing line is bigger than the average manufacturer. I ordered this shirt in size XXL which I usually wear which can be a bit tight at times but is definitely too big. In addition to the size, I liked the quality and feel of the material. I sent it back and ordered XL. This rating is based solely on size, not quality or fabric.
