This bag is a complete disappointment for women's fashion .As my tests showed the leather IS cheap and the color started fading within weeks of use. The strap broke on my first outing with this bag. The only pro is that it is affordable, but that is overshadowed by the poor quality. Don't waste your money on this hobo bag..
