My hands suffer in winter. It's only November 6th and my hands are already starting to crackle from overwashing my hands. I wanted to try these gloves so I let my husband try them on me. He was anything but happy. I cut open a pair first thing at lunchtime and rubbed some lotion on my upper arm because I have a weird allergy and wanted to make sure I wasn't allergic to anything in the gloves. I had no reaction so we continued that same evening. I cut two pairs - four gloves - and then we tried to remove the adhesive strips to stick them on our wrists. We couldn't get sticky tape. It may have just been user error, but the tabs are stuck. It didn't really matter because the gloves stay in place, but those tabs aren't designed very well. Each glove has a mesh lining on the inside and my husband put on one glove with the mesh on the outside of his hand while donning the other glove with the mesh on either side of his hand. We didn't realize it until we took off our gloves. It didn't make much of a difference, but FYI putting the gloves on properly. We wore the gloves for a full 30 minutes and as instructed I was able to use my iPad while wearing them. I was playing games and the gloves didn't stop me. The scent is a bit penetrating and doesn't smell like lavender, but more like lavender and men's perfume. It's not terrible, just not something I want by my side all the time. As we removed our gloves, we tried our best to rub all of the lotion on. There was a lot of lotion. I had to wipe something because it dripped onto my hand. Today, the next morning, I have already washed my hands more than 7 times and my hands are not as cracked as before the gloves. The instructions state that the process must be repeated. I think in a few days I will redo the gloves again.
