The light arrived on time as advertised. It is much brighter than the light from the hood my aquarium was fitted with. Actually it's too light. I bought a long 24-26 inch (can't remember exact measurements) for my 20 gallon tank. I started growing green hair algae very quickly and my Anubias didn't like bright light. So I bought some floating plants to provide some shade. If you have a 20-30 gallon aquarium, be aware that this light can raise light levels to medium levels and plants can suffer in low light.
