Advantages: (1-5) Safe to use on the stovetop, large volume (0.9L), one-piece glass with no seams, large flat base for good contact with stovetop, lid fits snugly without strainer for tea. In general, you want many things! Disadvantages: 1. The handle gets hot! Need a stop. It can be easily improved/changed by extending it further from the kettle body or by changing the material of the handle to bamboo.2. The kettle is too big for my thermometer. I end up measuring the temperature through the spout, which works great. 3. It is not recommended to fill the kettle above the maximum capacity mark.
