are surprising. cheap, sound great and small enough to sleep with. These headphones allow you to lie on your side and not stick your ear to your ear. I wear them as earplugs all night every night and if it's still too loud I can turn on music to sleep. They work great and are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Although the mic is a bit weak - people sometimes make me speak louder, but I don't talk to them much. Music sounds great through my iPhone - believe me I'm an audio engineer and audio engineer. Don't waste money on Beats (or other expensive headphones) unless you're wearing them for style. I have $200 headphones to better capture that sound of course, but these Sonys are by no means flimsy and free. they sound really good. well balanced - good highs, mids and lows. Excellent purchase! I also use them in cafes etc where people are chatting and I need to concentrate. I have some salad groove (somafm.com). They don't have to be turned on loud to drown out the noise. Full Disclosure - I've had to buy a new set for everyday use every year - at a price I can't complain about. can i buy the case?
