Boost HDTV antenna in audio and video accessories

Replaced cable and satellite with TV antenna in the attic. I've tried using a non-powered splitter on the cable that runs through the antenna from the cable junction box to the new Panasonic 50 inch Plasma HD TV in the living room and back to the junction box, but that didn't work. I have Mount Kennesaw between me and the Atlanta transmitters, so I first added a Motorola BDA single channel amplifier between the antenna and the first splitter, but the 15dB increase was still 3.5dB (or 7dB, I don't remember) nullified. through the splitter. The main TV only had one cable from a splitter and it worked great but the other TVs went through the additional 4 pin splitter and it's definitely 7 baud to the output. I replaced that 4 pin cable with a BDA-S4 and reception is really good in other rooms now. On all television networks, channels 46-1 CBS and 11-1 Atlanta Live are lost under certain daytime conditions (night and rain), but morning seems to be their best time. Didn't think of using them (or know of) a Motorola dual output BDA amp instead of the first splitter, otherwise I might improve reception on dubious channels. Oh, okay, how much is another 50 dollars? Local HDTV news channels pop up in front of you (I mentioned my new 50" HDTV screen) and I think the shows look better than satellite (because it's free?) Shows I don't watch live I use Hulu , Netflix on PS3 or directly to Websights Station on PC. Now I need a good HD DVR and I'm done.
