I am a retiree working from home who does all of the work myself as I have plenty of time and have learned many repair skills over the years. I don't actually do drywall and tape very often, but I just remodeled my master bathroom and needed new tape cutters. Knife sheaths can be expensive, but I was looking for something similar at a reasonable price. This knife had a lot of good reviews and the price was right. I used it for taping my bathroom and it was easy to use. Masking drywall is definitely an art form, and it takes years of practice to get those beautiful taped seams and corners that require little, if any, sanding. Mine is like a homeowner who does their own drywall maybe every few years, requiring a lot of sanding for a good finish. This knife made the hard work easier and my finished work is better than it should have been. I have arthritis in my hands and this knife was light enough that I could use it for hours without hurting my fingers and hands. The blade is strong and thin so it gives a nice slight curve needed for spreading debris. Great product, great price.
