This monitor is perfect if you want an app monitor with similar features to more expensive monitors (like Nest) but for a lot less money and even MORE features. You can talk through the app, get motion, sound and even room temperature alerts. You can also change the sensitivity for each of them and choose whether or not you want to receive notifications. The picture quality is amazing too. The sound part of the product is not as good as I was hoping as I have 3 other sound machines from Yogasleep and I expected the sound quality to be the same but it is not. I deducted a star because there were some bugs I encountered while setting up the monitor, but as this is a brand new product I expect these bugs and app issues to be fixed and hence my long term life not affect. with app updates in the future.
