I bought single-colored socks without handles for babies for the night. They are really cozy and warm. My toddler kept waking up with cold feet and I decided to buy warm winter socks to see if that would help him stay warm. It worked. He doesn't wake up with cold feet in the middle of the night, but they don't stay put. He moves a lot and they gradually slip overnight. They last long enough to keep his feet warm, but every morning he takes off at least one and the other almost completely slips off. So far they're the best when it comes to warmth and coziness, but they don't stay. The elasticity is really weak. I'm keeping them, but I'm still looking for good socks with enough warmth and elasticity to wear all night. These socks are great, but if you use them on a small child without shoes, they won't stay. Keep searching. But if you need them for shoes, then these will do. They are also not suitable for walking. I purposely took them without the dots on the bottom because they're only for bed, but if you're thinking about using them for the floor as well, they're generally not specifically designed for toddlers.
