Review on Adjustable Lamicall Laptop Stand: Ventilated Notebook Riser Holder for MacBook Air Pro, Dell XPS, Microsoft, HP & More - Gray, Up to 17 inch by Dave Wheeler

I researched different laptop stands and "wedge cushion" type stands to raise and tilt my laptop to make it more ergonomic and also is more durable / more sustainable. I used 2 books and a glasses case (no kidding) to replicate the triangular step/rise for my laptop. Unfortunately, the laptop often slipped off my homemade laptop "stand" and hit the floor a few times, which at one point seemed to negatively affect the image on the laptop screen. In the end I decided I needed a proper stand. I'm very glad I ordered this stand because I really think it suits me perfectly. I had two problems: 1) I couldn't set my laptop at the perfect angle (for me) and 2) the 'lip' holding the laptop in place cut into my wrists when I was typing. I was worried. The laptop is at the perfect angle for me (and adjusts securely to multiple angles, and the lip that holds my 17" laptop in place doesn't protrude beyond the laptop so it doesn't touch/rub my wrists .It also saves my 5 year old laptop which may have broken because it slipped off my former makeshift (book) stand.All for about 2 lattes.
