NOT my favorite yarn!

I don't love this yarn. I have used another brand of chunky yarn and I love that kind -- this one, much tougher to work with. It is SO FUZZY, and not in a good way. And, the little fuzzies tend to get wrapped around the yarn and cause a lot of tangles. I spent about 40 minutes one night untangling the skein. I ended up having to cut it, actually.The color is pretty though, and true to the photo (for the bright purple/grape color anyway).I am still a novice though, so more experienced…

Patches of bright pink

This yarn is really soft, even softer than the 'regular' Softee chunky yarn. The color and shine of the yarn makes it really beautiful.I knocked off three stars, however, for two reasons: the yarn separates easily so with less experience, it can be a pain to work with. The main reason I'm unhappy with this yarn though, is that it has fluff from different colors woven into its fabric at regular intervals. Good yarn. Howevr the actual color is a very dark grape. And watch out for colors that say it might be several months before they ship, or 'just' several weeks.

What I could get is fine, but there are two greens in the Bernat softee chunky baby line, and neither is available on ebay. Why?

I would not recommend this.

I used this yarn to make pom-poms for a Halloween costume for my kids. It was very difficult to work with. The fluff is awful, there were blue fibers floating around my house for days. It does not tie well, because the acrylic fibers are slippery. I have no experience with knitting, but based on the performance of this product in a simple craft project, I would not recommend this.

Pretty good but no stretch at all

I like this yarn enough, though it tends to separate a bit when I am knitting so sometimes you lose a strand here and there there and I end up having to go back and fix the stitch.

This made a beautiful scarf and the yarn is do soft. I have been loom knitting during this shelter in place The yarn may be prone to pilling, making the finished product look worn after only a few uses.

I was making a mermaid tail blanket and tried this yarn for the first time and I LOVE working with it.I have done several projects now and would do more but it is getting hard to find.

Beautiful and Bright!

This yellow yarn is both beautiful and bright. So cheerful. I use it to make braided hair for my sewn dolls. Just fabulous!
