Ok yes, they look nice and are comfortable. HOWEVER, and this is a BIG however, the rubber parts slide off all the time. It's annoying and I have to slide it back on every single row, and it's a small row. Because I have to shove it back into place all the time now the rubber has a hole. I looked at a maker of crochet hooks that I know and trust for a set of steel crochet hooks with comfortable handles because the wide range of steel hooks I have now were causing my arthritic hands to give me grief. I couldn't bring myself to pay the price - three times what this set costs. I like that they are fine enough to draw threads through fabric. I am a quilter and when the quilting is done there are a LOT of threads on the back of the quilt that must be ended off.

These hooks are a great value for how many you get. I love that they are metal with an ergonomic handle because I just can't use the teeny tiny metal hooks with nothing on them. The heads are smooth and don't snag my projects. I wish the handles were just a little bit longer for my hands, but otherwise they are perfect and I would recommend them to anyone who wants a cheap set to do lace with.

The hooks are fine. Can’t see where anything could go wrong here unless you’re abusive to the hooks. I have arthritis so the rubber grips are more comfortable than just the skinny metal handle. For the price the entire set was worth it!

First order. A hook as bent. Not usable.Replacement order. A hook was so scratched up it isn't usable.Kept the replacement order because I wasn't going to go through the trouble of replacing them again.Do I like them? No, not really. Too short and too small. Just because the thread gets smaller does not mean my hands do. A more universal size handle across all hook sizes would be nice.

Found these hooks to be much easier to work with than my other hooks with thin handles. Good selection of sizes. The small size of the hooks might be difficult to manipulate for some users!

I almost immediately forgot they are any different from the hooks I used for 60 years. Didn't have to adjust my technique at all.
