I loved the yarn after I got used with it and found the right size hook. It is tedious at times because it splits and some of the balls have knots, but overall I was able to crochet some cool things with so many beautiful colors. Yes, the balls are small - but a decent size is you're doing amigurumi or granny squares, and supplement for the main color with yarn from the store. The needles broke fast and I did not care for the hook that comes with the kit, but I am still using the markers.Not…

This product couldn't be for beginners because there is nothing to begin crocheting with (except the yarn). The post mentioned that there were crochet needles and stitch markers but the package only came with a bag and yarn. The value for the money is not there either. The yarn it came with, although had lots of colors, were smaller than expected. Overall, I should have read the comments before purchasing and will not be ordering again or recommending anyone to buy this.

Great starter set. Lots of colors with no Repeats, but they are very small and a kinda yarn made for beginners. For the price I am happy. The bag is nice to be able to store them in, the clips are really flimsy and brake very easily if they didn't brake just by trying to us them. :/ BUT Overall I'm happy with it. Great for beginners and small projects.

I read the reviews and saw they were small, figured if they were like dollar store size small it would still be a good deal, but they’re not even close, teeny tiny, doing amigurumi there’s not really enough to even do anything with unless it’s a micro project

This is perfect for the stuffies and smaller crochet projects. It says right in the item description what it's used for and how much which is helpful. Not sure what other people complaints are about I have had zero issues and I have made a fee things with the yarn so far. I definitely do recommend this

I was excited to receive my package, hoping for a great deal of yarn. The holding package is great, but the amount of yarn is very disappointing. There is not enough to do anything with it. Wish is had known this ahead of buying it.

The yarns are very easy to split apart and gets crochet work hard to be done. Would not recommend it for beginners as it makes learning way too frustrating with all the splits.

This is wonderful for a beginner crochet/knit student. Very compact, nice. HOWEVER, the 4 ply yarn is the thinnest I've ever seen.

I used the green yarn to make a leaf. It was not knotting correctly. It was not firm, and folded into itself. Completely ruining the pattern.

I expected the kit to be bigger but the color assortment is nice and the yarn is relatively soft. Not bad value for the price.

A friend hired me to make some Alice in Wonderland dolls (pattern by anamariacraft.com.br). I had several different colors which I needed and this set work out well. For two of the colors (white and mustered for the hat) the small balls were not bit enough, but overall it is a good solution for multi colored projects. The colors are bright, and the yarn is soft and easy to work with. As listed the balls are small.

While these are nice, vibrant colors, the quality of the yarn itself leaves a lot to be desired. The ends fray and split making some projects really tedious.

Got this for my granddaughter was rather disappointed in what was sent. Very small and kinda expensive for what I ordered. Just hope she is enjoying it?

The skeins are 35 yards per color which is exactly what I was looking for and what was described. Great for the accent colors needed for various projects

I needed yarn to make hexagons for my blanket. The case is good for storing the completed hexagons and half hexagons until I have enough to combine them into a blanket .

Great variety of colors. I've already reaped the benefits of a few completed projects made from these.The carry case is very convenient, though the more you use them, the more annoying it can get to try andstuff them back in, but it still make a good temporary housing for the so-far-unused colors.

The quality is great for beginners learning how to crochet. It does fray after using and reusing when learning but the cost makes it perfect for using it to try. Lots of colors to use which is good for small beginner projects.

Yarn was more like string. Some skews were of a Yarn texture but only a few. This Yarn is very flimsyNot for beginners. You have to have experience to work with this Yarn. I got it for granny squares. It's coming out okay but due to different texture of skews some squares are coming out smaller than others. I had high hopes for this product but was greatly disappointed. Will try another company with much more 5 star reviews.

Got this for my wife to get her started on tufting carpets. Came just like in the picture! The yarn was very soft! The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the amount you get. This starter kit could be better if it had more yarn in quantity or mentioned for smaller size projects.
