Good Arthritis Results

I knit or crochet a lot of socks before arthritis changed my life. I bought them and now I knit with great comfort. I don't see the size anywhere except on the packaging. I love these needles and they really help with arthritis.

Great product for knitting and crocheting

I agree with other reviewers that each needle has a tiny ridge that catches the yarn. This is easily done with an emery board. I knitted mittens with knitting needles and I really liked them. The small handle at the end makes lifting stitches easier. The needles are lightweight and won't fall out of work like metal needles. They are almost as fast as metal needles and much faster than bamboo. They also don't roll away if you drop them. I will buy other sizes so I can make other sizes of…

  • Great for me

Pretty Amazing Needles

I watched videos showing these needles and they kept saying they were easier to use than metal needles but I really didn't believe it. But there are! Especially if you use very small needles for knitting socks - they beat metal needles by a mile! The needles stay in place better, and if you're learning Norwegian-style knitting like me, they make the process easier and smoother. can easily break in half, so don't press them too hard. I am ordering more pins of this style and can't wait to see if

Your US size does not match our measurements.

I ordered two sizes, 1 and 2, and am using size 1 for a pair of socks. I love the feel of this needle in my hands. It's light and somewhat flexible. The small bulges at the tips serve their purpose perfectly and at least for me they don't affect the knitting speed. Since I knit very close to the needle tips, the little bumps help me a lot not to lose stitches. They are longer than normal and I can see how comfortable they are for knitting sleeves and some large hats. I got used to the extra…

The most comfortable of all

I have been knitting for over 50 years and have tried every brand, material and style of knitting needles on the market made in more than half a dozen countries. I'm a fast Continental left-handed yarn knitter and I liked the Addi Turbo yarns best for their speed. These needles just blew my mind. They are by far the most comfortable, fastest and easiest to use I've tried. It's as if they've systematically identified all of the frustrations knitters face and set out to eliminate each one. And…

Innovative tip and shaft

I am a professional knitting teacher and designer. In general, I'm not a fan of plastic knitting needles. In general, I prefer pointed metal with a square cross-section. Great is different. Yes, they're plastic, so they're not as pretty as metal or wood furniture. But they are easy. And most importantly, they are thought through down to the smallest detail. The tip of the lightbulb looks a bit like a bowling pin. If you've ever dropped stitches off a double-ended needle when it was tucked in…

Pros
  • Made from high performance, flexible synthetic material for ergonomic and comfortable knitting
Cons
  • A newer model could have been selected

I can't believe I love/love her!

I bought a pair of socks. I usually use HiyaHiya US1 bamboo sharpener. Bamboo feels softer and warmer than steel. I didn't really think I would like Prym needles, but I was intrigued. That's why I bought these sock pins. I think I'm in love. 🙄 They are like knitting with a cloud or a pillow. Sounds stupid I know. With them I knit more freely. I think it's because my arms are less tight and more relaxed. May I say ergonomics feel? The needles really have a spring or playability, a relaxed feel…

Pros
  • US size 7 (4.5 mm)
Cons
  • Very expensive

Straight stitches, NO skipped stitches

I bought these based on feedback from some knitting bloggers. They're a bit stiffer than regular plastic needles, and despite the taper at the needle tip (just before the bulbous end), they feel pretty solid. I use them to knit socks. I embroider by feel because most of the time I'm looking at something in the tube when I'm knitting. I have used different types of DPNs: wood, plastic, metal and also circular. My recent favorites have been the 8 inch DPN Karbonz, which knit up fairly quickly…

Pros
  • Teardrop tips for easy picking up - yarn won't break
