I watched videos showing these needles and they kept saying they were easier to use than metal needles but I really didn't believe it. But there are! Especially if you use very small needles for knitting socks - they beat metal needles by a mile! The needles stay in place better, and if you're learning Norwegian-style knitting like me, they make the process easier and smoother. can easily break in half, so don't press them too hard. I am ordering more pins of this style and can't wait to see if they will be as big as the smaller size. Circular knitting needles look very interesting. So maybe I'll never go back to Metal! For the price, I think they're worth experimenting with.
