I'm sure it works fine with Yi 1 and 2.
I have 2 Yi-3 cameras and a slot with a ring for the camera to slide through; There is a small plastic rim about 2mm thick (to hold the camera ring in place). But I think the V3, like mine, has less play or rounding. The angled edge of the plastic causes the camera to retract away from the ring and the "glass" so the camera can still see its IR light. I tried dremeling this corner edge to be the edge of the hairline so it doesn't get in the way of the camera. but I think the overall edge still needs to be shaved. This foam ring is also a problem for a5s in the middle. I'll make sure it works. >:)
