Review on TECO πŸ”§ 20402PL Machinist T-Slot Components by Justin Herman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Made in the USA, plastic holder, but as the name suggests, "PROMO "

step blocks are real 90 degrees. Imported brands don't stand still. They are ground at a slight angle from true 90 degrees. This causes the staples to put more pressure on a corner and leave marks on your products. Best buy on the market for the USA. Confused with Chin'e marks and nuts on the cheekbones allow you to screw the cleats into the table, Te-co has threads on the bottom and stops to keep the clamp screws from ruining the table. Another point of interest is the slots in the terminal blocks, whether 7/16-1/2 in Chinese, the slots are milled to large sizes. Te-co are milled to tolerances for even distribution. The plastic holder is marked "Made in the USA". It's thick plastic, but as the name suggests, "PROMO Kit". This means a promotional/introductory set in the US at a lower price. If you need a steel holder, pay extra for the more expensive Te-co kits. Mine is on the shelf so I don't mind. I ordered two sets of Chinese fakes and ended up sending them back due to poor quality. Spend another $25 and get a really good set. Very happy now.
