I purchased this HP cartridge on January 9th 2018 but did not open it until July 27th 2018 for use. The printer gave me an error message saying I can't use this cartridge. I later discovered that HP started to localize its cartridges and no matter what cartridge zone your printer had, when regionalization started, your printer ran by default. Is it right or not! This is very important as my printer defaulted to the wrong region when the last cartridge went into service. I had to call HP to correct my region on my printer. While the goods are under warranty, they do so free of charge. This cartridge was correct after my printer was repaired. I had to find this out on the HP forums where a friendly person replied to tell me the solution to my problem. I just don't want others to have to go through what I did if it wasn't the cartridge I bought here at Revain.
