Being relatively new to the aquarium I did not quarantine some of the plants I bought online. This resulted in 2 tanks of anchor worms. My poor fish! One of them was a hatchery and I was startled to see a worm attached to its small body. Within 2 hours of the first dose the worm was no longer sticking to my fish. I've seen the same thing in my large aquarium with adult fish. The directions say to use it once a week for 3 weeks - I think this is to kill any young worms that have developed from the eggs and I have been dosing each tank for 3 weeks but I have no more worms seen after the first dose. I've also had snails, ram's horns and trumpeter and cherry shrimp in the same tank and it didn't seem to have any effect on the shrimp or snails. All survived the treatment. Now I'm going to soak all plants in this solution overnight to kill any travelers clinging to any new plants I buy.
