THEY ARE WORTH THE PRICE AND THEN SOME

First, CONS. The HearID system sucks. ATTENTION! I'm well into my 20's but my hearing is extremely sensitive, I can hear up to 30,000 Hz with ease. I went through the tuning process and could hear almost every note on it. The EQ graph it generated for me just cranked all the highs up to the moon. The high frequencies of the drivers used in these headphones are very clear, but still quite bright, with more shimmer than glitter. If I had used the EQ curve she created for me, I COULD HAVE DEVELOPED HEARING LOSS. I have no idea how their algorithm works, but the graph generated for me is literally the complete OPPOSITE of what any frequency slider should be. BEWARE of this feature unless you have good hearing and can identify potentially dangerous or harsh frequencies. LDAC mode is also very bright. I'm attaching a screenshot of my normal mode and the LDAC mode fixes above. This is the best I can do without adding too much noise to the signal. My final complaint is the case/finish. To be honest, I find it tacky and cheap, and I like the look of my Liberty 2 more. Its design is like wearing a fake gold watch. These are good $120 headphones and I think the more modest design aesthetic suits the product much better. PROS: They sound really clear for $120 true wireless headphones, even on regular Bluetooth settings. It took several hours to erupt, but what pair doesn't. You will not be disappointed, they are exactly what they say they are. LDAC mode clearly has a higher bitrate, but these are $120 headphones, ladies, gents and lawyers. Don't expect $5,000 headphone drivers. Again I will add my personal correction charts as my ear interprets the drivers. I'd say it sounds like a really solid, well-mastered 320kbps file on wired open backs. I give them 2 flexed biceps, they are sufficient.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • I don't really like it, everything is fine
