It's been over a year --- Avoid this purchase!

I've had this product for about a year and a half. The reason I bought this sofa was because my ceiling in my apartment was too low to accommodate a full sofa and I needed a sofa that came unassembled and in a box. Assembling this sofa was quite easy. Once you have made a sofa chair, follow the same steps to assemble the remaining parts. The color of the sofa has not faded, and the possibility of dividing the sofa into parts makes it versatile for different looks in the living room. However, after about a year and a half of use, I wish I had never bought this sofa again! I'm the only one sitting on the couch 95% of the time and I weigh less than 130 pounds to give you an idea of its durability. The sofa became very uncomfortable and lost a lot of its plush. It is very difficult to sit on. Sometimes I'd rather sit on my plush rug than the couch, and that plush rug didn't cost nearly as much as this couch. The leg on one of my sofas broke off about a year after I bought it. This became irreparable as the wooden part of the sofa to which the leg was attached broke off. At first the leg looked like it was bent and I twisted it to straighten it and over time I noticed that it wasn't just the screw on the leg that broke but the wooden part of the sofa. The armrests of the sofa don't hold up well. Now I'm afraid to even lean on the armrests for fear they'll snap off too. I purchased the warranty when purchasing this sofa as I understand that "you get what you pay for" but I was unable to file a warranty claim online due to issues with the website. This was very frustrating because now I feel like I bought a warranty that I can't use. If you're buying this sofa for a short period of time it may suit you, but I wouldn't recommend it for more than a year.
