I'm an old laugh and use this ladder alone. I'm tall and I weight train, so maybe that's why I don't have a problem moving this ladder. Yes, it's bulky because it's so long, but it can still be moved to where you need it. Of course, it's strong when centered on a flat surface. It came without a box, which bothered me. But it shouldn't have been because the stairs are great, brand new. I checked the weight to make sure I had the right one and I did, even though I'm only 135. Ultimately, the unboxing was great because I didn't have to cut open what would have been a very large box! All in all a good ladder. Mine is 8 feet :)
