Much more than expected but I can't complain. I was able to fit a 7ft tree in the bag, as well as all my decorations and lights, and there was still room. . The only downside I have about the bag is that it doesn't appear to be made out of durable material. It is quite thin and can easily be torn. **UPDATE** The only hope I had with this bag was that it would protect my tree from basement odors. I can say 100% that when I opened the box I didn't smell anything of what was in the box. Unfortunately I don't have a basement finished and just dumped my previous tree because it stank so bad in the basement, mine and my attic are unavailable so I couldn't put the tree there. Upgraded to 5 stars because the bag has lasted all year and has preserved the smell of my wood just as it did when I put it away last season.
