I thought it was a little bit more than it really is. The product photos are a bit strange. But it's a good size, I can put it on a table next to my chair or on my desk, and it provides a constant flow of cool air. USB for power supply, press the switch on the back, press the dial, THEN adjust the dial to the output level. Not sure how much power it uses, but feels good for June in Utah. The cable should only be connected during charging. In fact, it works WIRELESS. which is great. I haven't tested how long the battery lasts. I let it run on the cord for about 2 hours and the water tank didn't noticeably empty. There is sound, but not bad (you can hear it on the video). I didn't notice it at work. I doubt it disturbs my sleep. The only things that confused me were the two pieces of plastic on the top that seemed to fit but didn't stay in place (maybe they're preventing the water from escaping?) and the instructions that it came with a cotton replacement She doesn't even say what she's using, let alone need a replacement (and she's not keeping up anyway). It comes with the world's cutest mini ice tray, so you can put small ice cubes in the cooler! I didn't see the fill lines in the water tank, but I suggest filling it under the small plastic pillars. In addition, the water tank cover is simply removed and attached. I haven't broken it yet. I used to reject small cool boxes. I have a large Vornado fan in my office at work because it's the only thing that can cool the entire room. But the small cooler bag is just great to have something cool with you while you work, read, study, take a nap, etc. Keep calm!
