Do not buy this security system

We originally bought the security system at the end of February 2021. It was too complicated to install without hiring a technician. After two days of trying to install it, we discovered that the dash cam's hard drive was damaged when we received it. Without installation, there is no way to determine if software or hardware is affected or damaged. Due to Covid we had no choice but to wait for the technician to appear, which happened a few months later. The system was in the box until a technician could arrive and attempt to install it. After about seven hours of trying to figure out what the problem with the DVR was, the small dead battery needed to run the DVR died. I had to get a new battery and install it. At this point we found that the DVR was damaged and not working. As the return window closed after three months, we were unable to return the system due to damage. Revain's customer service was a little help, and the fact that we paid over $180 for this system was disappointing to say the least. After numerous phone calls, the manufacturer sent a new DVR free of charge. Now the DVR is working but the cameras are also broken. The cameras come with a six month warranty so we'll see how customer service wants to work Tess. Too bad, but what can you expect from technology from China
