Review on Enhance Your Aquarium with Marineland Eclipse Compact Replacement Lamp by Tonya Austin

This bulb is not the one that came with the Aquarium Hex 5, an original bulb that gives off a softer light. I have two Hex 5 tanks, each with exactly the same settings, except one still has the original bulb. The aquarium I placed this replacement bulb in was suddenly overgrown with algae after the bulb was changed. I don't know if it's a coincidence or not but I had no problems with algae before I swapped out the bulb for this bright white one and my other tank is crystal clear as always. So I'm looking for a bulb like the one that came with the aquarium.
