First time using the opinion of my new "Steak Flippers "!
I thought it was a great idea. And when I used them, they worked fine, but not as well as I expected. I had a hard time figuring out how deep to get the tip into the steaks to grab the steaks enough to turn them over, but not too deep into the steaks or they would stick to the hook. I think a little more wrapped hook and a thinner tip might solve this problem.
