Estimate dimensions before ordering. For those who don't have other things made from bamboo, it's an incredibly strong, moisture-resistant, and durable material - out of all proportion to its weight. Here in South Beach, a lot of people have bamboo floors. This tray should hold a lot of heavy dishes, glasses etc. It will take a long time. The design is quite nice, with two contrasting pieces on each outer corner, parallel to the bottom. The large angle of the sides allows you to carry the tray in such a way that its contents do not collide with the handles. The grip holes start about 3/4 inch from the bottom - if you spill (I'm Mr. Butterfingers) it stays under the grips. Overall it's very durable without being overly heavy. The tray is very easy to clean. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Bamboo slats are connected to each other flush and without gaps. In fact, I might have preferred it if it wasn't so perfectly finished to highlight the bamboo, but then it would be more difficult to clean. I wish I had a butler to accompany the tray but you can't have everything.
