Review on ☕ Glass Handle Series Chemex Pour-Over Glass Coffeemaker - 10-Cup - Exclusive Packaging by Paula Brown

Makes delicious coffee!

After getting fed up with the electric filter coffee maker, I looked for a coffee maker without a water tank or inner hoses that could harbor bacteria and/or mold. (To learn more, google "signs your coffee maker is making you nauseous”). I tried the bodum pour over but it didn't have enough capacity and I found it difficult to hold onto the thick collar. So I decided to try Chemex for 10 cups with a handle. What I love about Chemex is that it's big enough, looks good, easy to clean, super easy to hold and pour with one handle, and makes delicious coffee (hard to believe I suffered from an electric dripper) . coffee machine for so long!). I used to read one or more reviews that Chemex has thin glass that breaks easily so I hesitated to order it. But the glass in my Chemex doesn't feel flimsy or cheap at all, and certainly no thinner than any other glass coffee maker I've had. My only complaint about the Chemex system at the moment is that in the last 2 boxes of square Chemex filters I bought (from a retail store) I ran one filter short in each box. Instead of 100 filters, there were only 99 filters in the boxes. At this point I don't know if the problem is someone at the retail store stealing a filter from each box hoping no one will notice, or if the problem lies with the factory. I notified the store manager today and plan to call Chemex tomorrow so they can take a look at the problem. I hope they fix that because Chemex filters make a great tasting cup of coffee!
