This comes with a USB cord to charge the batteries, but if you only use that to charge, it takes longer. If you plug the USB into a wall charger (like what comes with most cell phones), the charge is faster and the whole unit works better. When I had it plugged in just using the USB, one side of the unit wasn't getting a full charge and the lights on one side never turned green, even after 2 days, and it was getting hot. Now that I have it plugged into a wall charger, all lights are green and it's not hot. The batteries work well in my controller and last a long while. I usually play for 3 to 4 hours per session.
