This is the best retinoid product and I have tried many from RetinA to Paula's Choice and other drugstore brands. I've already had a regular skincare regimen where I've seen significant improvement, and it gave me so much more! It has made my skin softer, smoother, firmer and more even. For me it doesn't dry out, even moisturizes. I really don't even need any other products, although I still use a moisturizer and sometimes vitamin C. I apply it all over my face including the eye area, neck and chest (there was a noticeable improvement too) and further the back part of the face. my hands (also a big improvement). It's literally been about 5 years since I came out and as I said I've already had a good cycle. One thing I've learned from my skincare routine is that what works for one person may not work for another. So let me share my skin type with you so you might know if you should try it. I originally had oily, acne-prone skin that was a little red and fair with large pores and dullness. As a kid, I loved sunbathing to get rid of acne. So as I got older I had this perfect mix of sun damage and oiliness! Around the age of 35, I started exfoliating my skin either physically or chemically and saw significant improvement. Over the years I have added various acids, niacinimide, peptides etc and it has continued to improve. My skin needs a lot of exfoliation. Now at 53, my skin is still a little oily and can use a lot of exfoliation, although I use a cleansing oil (Ponda Balm) that leaves my skin amazingly soft and smooth. My current evening routine is Pond's to clean, Retinol Oil, Olay Regnerist. In the mornings, I apply Aguirilin to my forehead, the occasional Vitamin C or BHA, and a moisturizing sunscreen.
