Review on πŸ‘Ά Meetcare Baby Hair Clippers: Ultra Quiet Trimmer for Kids & Adults - Cordless, Waterproof Haircut Kit by Ryan Gordon

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They are amazing. for 4 months. 2nd set so no coincidence

Having an autistic son who refuses a haircut was a godsend. The first time around 3 months and the second time around 4 months. The problem is that the battery seems to be absolute nonsense. They charge well, hold a charge well until you notice (and it took me 2 pairs of these cars to see it was a template), they just won't charge anymore. This is a situation that gets a little bit worse every time. like they have a predetermined amount of charges they're going to take, and then BAM! they just stopped. Each time you charge them, the charge takes a little less time. For example, on the first full charge, the cars did not need to be charged for about 10 days (the son cut his hair, and sometimes the father comes over to cut it). After the 3rd charge, the battery lasted about 6-7 days between charges. After about the 5th or 6th charge, the light will flash red for about 3 minutes [indicating the battery is low] after the clippers turn on.) I would still buy a clipper at this price if I think so would have to supply their own rechargeable (or even disposable) batteries and that would give them a few years of life. I would still buy a clipper at this price if it worked by plugging it in when the battery died. I would pay twice as much if the battery had a 3 year warranty. Unfortunately this is a waste of money as they currently [not] work with a lifespan of 4 months or less. I'm giving 2 stars not 1 because I've done about 8 haircuts from these and I feel cheap (I'm poor not cheap - lol) complaining about haircuts that cost less than $3.50 each.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Good but not great
