Before use I recommend applying petroleum jelly/petroleum jelly around the gum line to ease the pain of applying hydrogen peroxide. I have used this material 3 times and I can assure you my teeth have been several shades whiter. Initially, like others, I had issues with the LED backlight, but I played around with the battery and the issue was resolved. First I apply peroxide to my teeth and then put some around the mouthguard and leave it on for 30 minutes while I put the LED in my mouth. Do the same for the bottom row of teeth. It is inconvenient to put caps on top and bottom at the same time. Yes, it takes about 60 minutes but it's worth it if you want whiter teeth. Finally, keep a cup nearby as you will have to spit a few times. If you smoke and drink coffee like me, then you need this product even after brushing your teeth every six months.
