Amazing sound with the right cartridge
Put this in my Shure v15 Type III pickup and it blew my mind. I'm playing an MCS 6502 turntable with edifier r1280t bookshelf speakers through an ART DJPRE II phono stage and the sound is flawless. I'll probably upgrade the preamp at some point but am very happy with my setup.
- Replaces the following styluses: Shure N97, N97E, N97ED, N97B, all N97 series. Updates the following needles: Shure SS39ED, SS39EJ, SS39B, Radio Shack RS649, Pfanstiehll 771-DE, 771-DED, 769-DED, 769-DEJ, 769-D7, Radio Shack RS648. Used in the following cartridges: Shure M97E, M97ED, RXT4, all M97 series cartridges, SC39, SC39EJ, SC39ED Studio. Series, M97B, Shure M97HE-AH, M97HEAH, DT50HE, M97HE, PRESENCE7 Shure RXT4, Radio Shack 42-2773, RX-T4. Diamond tip with an ellipse radius of 0.0002 x 0.0007. Speeds: 33 and 45 rpm. Produced in Switzerland.
