Review on 🌡️ CSF 895 Radiator: Superior Cooling Solution for Optimal Performance by Ronnie Saylor

pinhole leak. The truck heats up. Might be a good option for cooler climates

Fits my 1989 Toyota pickup with 22RE engine. This is a solid brass double row radiator, but I recommend spending the extra cash on a CSF 2314 triple row radiator, especially if you live in warmer climates like AZ. I bought and installed this radiator based on what was originally installed on my truck, it was a 2 row radiator. As the temperature started to rise this spring, I took a little trip and noticed that with the AC on and 70 mph my temp gauge was over 3/4 of its range. It was a 30 degree day and here in Arizona, where I live, summer temperatures can reach 115 degrees. I knew immediately that this radiator would not work. It sucks that I had to flip, buy a 3 row cooler and keep replacing it. A small downside that I noticed: This cooler also has a localized leak at one of the solder joints where the pipe connects to the upper tank. I noticed a wet fin area with coolant drips when I removed the fan shroud. The radiator was only used for 4 months. Please take what I just wrote seriously if you live in a warm climate. BTW, my fan clutch and water pump are new (OEM) and working. I installed a new stock Toyota 195 degree thermostat. The cooling system is in excellent condition, clean, no head gasket problems. My truck now runs fine and cool at 1/3 gauge with a 3 wire radiator installed in the same weather conditions as above.
