This is a beautiful pen. The bad news is that the head will clog the blades, after which the blade will stop cutting. You have to remove the blade, wash it and put it back on the handle. If you look at the original Trac II handle, it has an open head that allows shaving debris to flow through the cartridge and out. Since the Original Trac II ballpoint pen has an open head, dirt can escape from the cartridge and be flushed away without any additional effort. This handle has a strong head that blocks the flow of shaving debris. When the cartridge is full, cutting stops. Here the manufacturer has an opportunity to correct the design of the head and get a really nice grip.
