Admittedly, I deviated from four, five, and any number of blade server upgrades that were suggested. I have never been satisfied. I used to love my original Trac II razor. At least until our clueless cleaning lady threw it away, thinking it was disposable (yes, I fired her). Since then I've been using these cheap rotary pseudo razors. Then I saw this cool pen and bought it. I LOVE balance and weight. Feels like a men's razor. I highly recommend it. BUT, buy it with the smallest set of blades possible and ditch the included crappy blades right away. They will cut and shred your face. Go back to Revain and buy real Trac II…

Probably my fault for not reading the description fully. This razor is very well made. All metal with excellent grip. However, the head does not rotate as it is made entirely of metal. This only works if you're shaving a flat surface. You won't get a close shave with this razor unless you run it over and over again at different angles over the same area. Again very well done. It just died, doesn't work for me.

I wish there was a rubber handle in the middle of the razor, as it is stainless steel it is very comfortable to hold. It's a solid heavy grip, but the included razors are cheaply made and will break if dropped. In addition, they are very tight, which makes them difficult to put on. Cheap plastic shaving bags sold at Walmart shave better than these blades. I sincerely hope that my brand's blades, which I bought separately for this razor, actually work, since the description of this product lists

Most of the reviewers for this product appear to be male so I am giving a disclaimer that I am a female and do not use this product to shave my face. I've used dual blades (don't know what brand) my whole life. They're easy to put on and take off whenever you need to change them and give you a close shave. Along with a small knurl, the O-rings provide grip. You will fail in about a year. They can be replaced with Danco 96726 O-Rings, 5/8x7/16x3/32 from Plumbing. Good quality holder. This is a beautiful pen. The bad news is that the head will clog the blades, after which the blade will stop cutting. You have to remove the blade, wash it and put it back on the handle. If you look at the original Trac II handle, it has an open head that allows shaving debris to flow through the cartridge and out.
