Assembly is fairly easy, lots of metal rods of different lengths and connectors are included so it doesn't feel like an extravagant process you have to go through to put it together It's very easy to put together and I like that it's not very big, I can easily step over it, but it's still big enough that it has quite a bit of time to grow into. I bought almost exactly the same thing for $120. I'm so glad I bought this one instead because it's exactly the same. I also like that there is a small door that you can open. The head and legs don't touch on either side, so it's quite long, but definitely a good exercise in common sense. One more thing, it's not meant to be put on and taken off over and over again, it's more like you collect it, you find a place for it and leave it there, it's not really a backpack and game.
